Blog Post: Holiday Spirit -- an invitation to all
posted Monday, December 1, 2008 10:27 AM
The holidays are a time that bring out the best in all of us -- there's a distinctive spirit that permeates the air, causing us to hum, whistle, or even sing under our breaths to songs that not three weeks ago would have brought out the Scrooge in us.
The Orange County Chapter of ASTD-OC invites you to partake in some of that spirit during our annual Holiday Networking Event, featuring the tradition "Death By Chocolate"* celebration. It's an occasion to enjoy fellow workplace learning and performance professionals as they revel in the year's successes, discuss future endeavors, and network. As an extra seasonal bonus, we're presenting Marc Rosenberg, Ph.D., as he shares his insights on Building Knowledge Management Solutions. We invite all trainers, instructional designers, eLearning developers, organizational development experts, human performance improvment practitioners, knowledge management solution providers, human resource generalists and managers, ANYONE connected to the workplace learning and performance industry to join us on this festive occasion! Learn more about the Learning Event, Building Knowledge Management Solutions, and how to register. Learn more about this year's Community Outreach, READ/Orange County, and how you can help an organization working to improve adult literacy.
*to date, there have been no deaths attributed to the Death by Chocolate event, but there's a direful amount of chocolate. You've been warned.
