Plott Health Care provides support services to multiple long-term care facilities throughout the Inland Empire, including Ontario, San Bernardino and Riverside areas. Our company is a stable, well established health care provider. The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides Occupational Therapy services under supervision of the Occupational Therapist to patients within the regulations and scope of practice as determined by the Occupational Therapy Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California. Responsibilities include:
Provision of Occupational Therapy services to patients in skilled nursing facilities. Providing treatment, intervention and education services to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. Assisting in the assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, and related documentation and communication with patients, family and other team members.
Skills / Requirements
- COTA Licensure by California Board of Occupational Therapy
- Valid CA Driver's License and clear driving record required
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility a plus
