    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of federal and state income and franchise tax returns as well as quarterly estimated tax payments. Assist with the quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740) and supporting documentation for federal and state audits. This position is hands-on and the qualified candidate should be self-motivated. Attention to detail, time management, organizational skills and accountability are essential.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for the preparation of required federal and state income tax returns.
    • Responsible for calculation of quarterly estimated income tax payments as well as annual income tax extensions.
    • Assist income tax team with quarterly and annual income tax provision process
    • Research federal, state and local income tax issues as necessary
    • Assist in coordinating responses to federal, state and local tax authority inquiries.
    • Assist management with income tax audit requests.
    • Performs other duties as required including assist in tax planning projects.

    Minimum Required Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and/or Experience

    • Four year college degree or equivalent experience is required.
    • Four years of related experience is required.
    • Corporate Tax Department experience a plus

    • N/A

    • Occasional travel as required.

    • CPA or working towards CPA a plus

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
