Government Services Support
The Government Services Support associate is responsible for supporting existing relationships and providing day-to-day department operational support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
- Provide service and support in the following areas:
- Operation Support to Customers, Operations and Centers
- Analysis Statements
- Public Entity Reporting
- Contracts of Deposit of Moneys / Waiver Agreements
- Signature Cards and Corresponding Documents
- Local / State Agency Reports
- External Audit Verifications
- Pricing Tranches / Exceptions
- Proposal Preparation
- Use of Computer for Proposals, Documents, Correspondence
- Participate in all Department Functions Necessary to Contribute to the Achievement of Department Goals, Growth and Profitability
- Provide Consistent, Prompt, Efficient and Professional Customer Service Which Exemplifies the “Citizens Experience”
- Other Duties as Assigned
Responsibility Level Guide
This is an entry level position in Government Services. The incumbent will possess a working knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Bank Products, New Account Support, Public Entity Documentation Support and Public Entity Service Support. Excellent communication skills to assist internal and external customers. May back up other positions or perform other duties as required.
This is an intermediate position. The incumbent will possess demonstrated experience in two or more of the Level I areas: Bank Products, New Account Support, Public Entity Documentation Support and Public Entity Service Support. Analytical skills are required to resolve problems independently. Excellent communication skills to assist internal and external customers. Travel when needed or extended hours as required to complete daily duties. May back up other positions or perform other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of All Programs that enable preparation of proposals, report and external audits. Keyboarding proficiency is required to prepare proposals and audits.
