Position Description
Role Summary:
Flowserve Pump Division’s Commercial Operations Parts group is seeking an Interpretation of Parts & Pricing Analyst for a role in our NA Organization located in Vernon, CA with a primary focus within the Nuclear, Decoking & Ebullator markets.

Essential  Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to: 

  • Reading & understand technical documents, drawings, and metallurgy’s 
  • Preparation of material & labor estimates to support Aftermarket quotation proposals 
  • Clear documentation of all proposals to allow for clean execution at order fulfillment stage 
  • Interfacing with internal/external sales force, distributors, engineering and localized support teams 
  • Daily management of high workload with varying complexities to support a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience/Characteristics:

  • Experience with pumps and/or pumping systems is a plus
  • Understanding of 6S lean principles
  • Foreign languages: Spanish, German, Italian

Position Requirements


  • College 4-Year Degree or equivalent work experience within a manufacturing environment (3-5 years)
  • Mechanical aptitude, Engineering skillset and/or comparable work experience
  • Ability to read drawings, technical documents and skillset to develop
  • Detailed proposals
  • Understanding of cost & margin analysis 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer proficiency including MS Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word), Oracle, SAP
