Performs technical planning and analyses and develops methodology dealing with aeroelastic characteristics of aircraft include Airframe Dynamics Engineering structural stiffness model development; static aeroelastic/divergence analysis; gust analysis; dynamic response analysis; aeroservoelastic analysis; ground vibration and fixture testing of aircraft structure; flight testing for dynamic response, and aeroservoelasticity, wind tunnel flutter model testing; wake and gust encounter; dynamic landing and ground handling; and other dynamic phenomena. Tunes analytical models based on ground vibration test results and flight test results. Develops flight clearance recommendations based on analysis and flight test results. Performs technical planning and analyses and develops methodology in the areas of vibration and acoustic environment development for aircraft structure and equipment for the purpose of ensuring adequate fatigue endurance and noise abatement requirements are met. Performs analysis of damping, shock absorbing, and shock mounting systems for equipment and structure. Develops vibroacoustics inputs to environmental design criteria, and interprets environmental criteria for vibroacoustics design issues.

***Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access. A Secret Security Clearance is needed and a clearance investigation must have been conducted within the last 5 years.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required with 12 years of professional work experience
Experience in an area of air vehicle structures analysis and development
Experience leading a team

Desired skills
Experience performing structural and dynamics analysis
Exposure to rigid body dynamics tools (ADAMS)
Technical leadership experience
Proposal development experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working ADP or similar programs
Ability to interact effectively with customers and senior management
Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
