Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs is looking for the right few to join the historic Skunk Works® team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, industrial machinery, prototype model production and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. An Intermediate understanding and application of engineering and technical principles, theories and concepts will be expected. Determines, provides and develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems unique to each program assigned, with considerable direction and supervision. Will help coordinate and support tooling activities across a wide range of functional organizations including; Airframe Design, Structural Analysis, Materials and Processes, Planning, Procurement/Suppliers, Manufacturing, Production, Quality Assurance, Testing and Tool Fabrication. This is considered an experienced level position, transitional from entry level to career level.

- Must be US citizen.
- Active/Final Secret clearance.


Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline, with minimum of 2-years of demonstrated professional experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant/professional experience will be considered.
- CATIA-V5 Part, Assembly & Drafting workbench experience.
- Experienced in the use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in aircraft or automotive tool design and/or fabrication.

Desired skills
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in the production of aircraft and related tooling to include; metallic and composite materials, composite cure, trimming, drilling, machining, forming, welding, assembly and inspection.
- Experience with CATIA-V5 Generative Shape Design workbench.
- Experience in structural analysis and material selection/sizing.
- Hands-on machining, fabrication and/or mechanical experience.
- Experience with additive manufacturing.
- Experience working in a fast paced, developmental environment.
- Strong verbal/written/presentation skills.
- MS-Office proficient.
