Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA needs qualified system engineers tosupport mission operations for on-orbit SBIRS payloads. Candidate willsupport payload state of health, payloadcommand products, and operations support of an operational payload constellation.Secondary assignments are in areas such as launch rehearsal planning andexecution, system test planning and execution, design and development ofanalysis tools, and generation of system databases. Interest in TelemetryTracking & Commanding of space hardware is required, as well as the abilityto work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additional responsibilitiesmay be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs. 


Basic Qualifications: 

·    Bachelor's Degree in aSTEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) & 5 years ofengineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field & 3 years ofengineering experience

·    Experience working withMATLAB

·    Active & Current DoDSecret security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Master's Degree or higher specifically in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering
  • Unix environment experience.
  • Experience with engineering tools such as STK.
