Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
Candidate to be a self-starter, thrive on challenges and provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems, where solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Candidate should be able to independently determine and develop approach to solutions.
STEM Bachelor's Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited institution, plus 5 years professional experience in software engineering, or 3 years with a STEM Master's Degree, or 0 years with a STEM PhD
Experience with freeware COTS integration (e.g. OpenJDK, Jupyter, PostgreSQL)
Software development experience using C/C , Java, RHEL Linux, and IDEs (e.g Eclipse or Java Frameworks experience)
Relational database experience
Experience with System Test Controller software (STC) such as DSATS or other equivalent system test controller software
Experience with server hardware, networking and system administration
