Northrop Grumman AerospaceSystems is seeking a Project Manager to work in Redondo Beach, California.
This project manager will beresponsible for flight hardware production. In addition, this individual willbe responsible for the coordination of the production plans and execution ofrestricted program hardware. The project manager is responsible for theexecution of manufacturing and production resources in the fabrication,assembly and test areas within a dynamic (flight) environment. The successfulcandidate will apply their excellent communication skills, proven self and teamleadership and ability to interface with various levels of personnel includinginternal shop floor personnel, engineers, program leads.
A key aspect of this role isthe ability to make persuasive production related arguments while balancingcost and schedule elements of the program. Demonstrated knowledge of productiontools including Solumina is required.
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of production experience within a manufacturing environment; or a Masters Degree from an accredited institution and 1 year of production experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience directly supporting aerospace hardware production.
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S.Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a backgroundinvestigation date within 6 years, OR must have and be able to maintain anactive U.S. Government SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation(SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.
- Experience with the space flight hardware
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Active In-Scope TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Masters' Degree
