Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Project Manager for our Palmdale, CA location. The ideal candidate will have to following job responsibilities/duties:
Responsible for performing maintenance scheduling and documentation functions for operational activities for manned and/or unmanned systems. Develops plans and establishes production schedules to meet mission requirements. Determines maintenance capabilities to aid in developing operational schedules. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for known maintenance and operational mission and training requirements. Manages system inventory data. Reconciles flying hour data with Operations. Schedules and monitors workload requirements. Ensures leadership is advised of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Uses automated system to schedule and monitor maintenance activities' workload. Schedules maintenance jobs, helps establish work priorities, and monitors completion times. Coordinates with maintenance data systems analysis to establish automated support requirements. Maintains and audits systems records. Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO), special inspection, engine management and time change program and related MIS.
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years of experience in operational planning and/or logistics support.
- Current and active Top Secret Security clearance with ability to maintain TS/SSBI.
- Technical (STEM) degree.
- Prior experience leading a Maintenance Analyst organization.
- Minimum 9 years of experience managing highly technical projects which have delivered critical/complex hardware and/or capability to customers.
