Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Electronics Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
Provide technical expertise to support closure of Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and improvement of existing technology
Coordinate with other engineers in execution of cost, schedule, and technical baseline
Perform Risk & Opportunity Management
Perform review and analysis of supplier design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration
Ensure process alignment, support program achievement reviews and deep dives, and assist in development and implementation of division objectives
Work closely with peers and managers of other engineering disciplines, program managers, and IPT lead
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 14 years of relevant engineering experience (electrical, aerospace, mechanical, etc), OR Master's Degree in STEM and 12 years of relevant engineering experience
Minimum 5 years of combined experience in areas of electronics engineering or related field
Experience with RF Satellite Communications (SATCOM) equipment
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher with background investigation completed within the last 5 years
Ability to obtain and maintain program access
Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 14 years of relevant engineering experience (electrical, aerospace, mechanical, etc)
Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, demonstrated system ownership experience in requirements analysis, architecture development, integration, or verification
Familiarity with sub-contract management, EVMS, and program planning
Strong leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
An active in-scope DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance with existing Special Program Access
