The What
Reporting directly to the Hand Tools, Accessories & Storage (HTAS) Specialty Territory Manager, the Brand Ambassador- HTAS will be required to travel extensively within the respective province, be a self-starter with strong communication, presentation, and product knowledge skills in the Power Tool, Hand Tool Accessory and Storage businesses. Your time management skills will be essential to achieve overall team results. Possessing strong interpersonal and execution skills is essential to this role, while managing your time effectively with multiple accounts.

The How
• Under the direction of your Manager, help grow the HTAS business with our current and new distribution accounts by providing merchandising, store set ups, and identifying new opportunities within a distributor’s product line
• Merchandising HTAS products (setting up displays, re-arranging product, and setting up new product walls) at various walk-in retail locations of our key distributors as needed with a strong emphasis on visual aesthetic and functionality to enforce branding
• Develop a strong customer working relationship with a variety of internal personnel
• Create a 1-year strategy in your territory that will offer the greatest opportunity for growth
• Achieve sales targets for business categories as assigned for territory
• Manage your business within assigned budgets
• Foster HTAS training for account personnel
• Communicate market trends, competitive feedback to the key business leaders
• Co-ordinate and communicate sales efforts within assigned geography with your manager
• Cold calling to seek new opportunities for HTAS business growth

What we need
• College diploma or University degree in Marketing, Business or relevant area of study
• Experience with retail events, product demonstration, new product launches
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently
• Computer proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Clean Drivers Abstract
