Description

Mechanics Bank is looking for a Loan Administrator III located inIrvine, CA.

What you will do:

  • Independently administer the closing of loans involving commercial real estate (CRE), commercial and industrial (C&I), agricultural, small business, and other corporate loans.

  • Work with relationship managers, underwriters, outside counsel, and title insurance companies to ensure compliance and resolve issues.

  • Assemble materials for closing, coordinate all aspects of the closing, and ensure adherence to covenants and conditions of the loan documents.

  • Coordinate loan administration processes with the Loan Services Group (LSG).

  • For construction loan closings, establish the budget, monitor on-going construction, make disbursements, and process draws.

  • Monitor the project through the life of the loan.

  • Bring to lender’s attention critical conditions that require resolution prior to closing loan, including liens, entity issues, and other obstacles.

  • Maintain loan files; assemble materials for audits.



Requirements

Who you are...

  • Thorough knowledge of loan closing processes, rules, and requirements.

  • Knowledge of credit analysis theory and practices.

  • Knowledge of real estate and construction loan requirements and practices, such as disbursements and draws.

  • Analytical ability and problem-solving skills to ascertain and resolve complex interrelationships regarding loans and credit.

  • Knowledge of property title requirements and complex relationships such as partnerships and the various entity structures.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with Bank professionals, outside counsel and other professionals, lenders, and Bank servicing units.

Certifications, Licensing, Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:

  • May require notary license, depending on assigned office or department to perform notary certifications.
